What is ShadeSock?

ShadeSock is a revolutionary wind-inflating beach shade. Instead of poles and stakes, it uses wind pressure to inflate and hold its shape — giving you instant, silent, hassle-free shade at the beach.

How does it inflate? Do I need to blow it up?

No! ShadeSock inflates automatically using natural wind. Simply open the wide inlet and let the breeze do the work. It inflates in under 60 seconds in any normal beach breeze.

What are the dimensions when inflated?

When fully inflated, ShadeSock provides a generous shaded area suitable for 2–4 people. Please refer to the product images for exact dimensions.

Is ShadeSock waterproof?

ShadeSock is made from water-resistant materials that can handle light splashes and sea spray. It is not designed to be submerged in water.

Does ShadeSock protect from UV rays?

Yes! The fabric is designed to block a significant portion of UV radiation, helping protect you from the sun. However, we still recommend applying sunscreen for full protection.

Will it blow away in strong wind?

ShadeSock comes with anchor points and sandbag pouches to secure it to the ground. It is designed for typical beach wind conditions. In very strong or stormy winds, we recommend taking it down for safety.

How compact is it when packed?

ShadeSock packs down into a small, lightweight carry bag that easily fits in a beach bag or backpack. It weighs under 1 kg.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes! We offer free worldwide shipping on all orders.

How long does delivery take?

Estimated delivery times:

  • Europe: 7–14 business days
  • USA / Canada: 10–18 business days
  • Rest of the world: 14–21 business days

Please note these are estimates and may vary due to customs or carrier delays.

Will I receive a tracking number?

Yes! Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number so you can follow your package.

Do I have to pay customs fees?

Orders within the EU are not subject to additional customs fees. For orders outside the EU, customs duties and import taxes may apply depending on your country's regulations. These fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

🔄 Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. The item must be unused and in its original packaging. Please contact us at support@shadesock.store to initiate a return.

My item arrived damaged. What do I do?

We're so sorry to hear that! Please email us at support@shadesock.store with your order number and a photo of the damage. We'll sort it out for you as quickly as possible.

How long does a refund take?

Once we receive and inspect your return, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.
